Old Llandavians Day 2024
Saturday 6th July 2024
On Saturday, we were thrilled to welcome back more than 70 former CSL students for Old Llandavians Day.

OLs enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch, tours of the School and the annual cricket match on the Bishop’s Field which saw a stellar cast of former CSL players competing against our current 1st XI. Having won the toss, the OL's, under the captaincy of Pri Jha invited the 1st XI to bat. Some remarkably accurate bowling from the OL's caused the 1st XI some challenges with only Ayush M able to score freely in his unbeaten half century. The OL's started the second innings with some excellent striking from Avaneesh Shah, Max Wood and ably supported by Tom Jenkins who hit a 6 to take the OL's past the target.

It was wonderful to see such warm interactions across the generations of CSL cohorts, ranging from those who left in 1957 to last year's leavers.

Following lunch, Louise Mumford, the Archivist, shared a fantastic display of old school uniform and memorabilia whilst pointing out familiar faces in old school photographs, much to the delight of the OLs!

Thank you to everyone for making it such a wonderful day!
